Requirements:
- 5.5 to 7 years of experience in writing technical documentation such as user guides, programmer guides, API reference manuals, administrators’ manuals, installation guides, and release notes in a product engineering environment
- Experience in using and enforcing style guides to prepare content that conforms to documentation standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and interpersonal skills
- Good understanding of Internet technologies on Linux and Windows platforms
- Expertise in using tools such as Adobe FrameMaker, Acrobat, Webworks Publisher, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, and Visio
- Expertise in editing or reviewing technical documentation and enforcing strict writing guidelines
- Familiarity with source file repositories such as CVS or Visual SourceSafe
- Experience in working with geographically distributed teams (especially with US based teams)
- Proven expertise in information designing and defining document layouts
- Proven expertise in estimating documentation effort and planning documentation deliverables
- Proven ability in mentoring junior writers
