Madonna University (Michigan)’s Professional and Technical Writing program offers students real-world written communication skills essential to success in any workplace. A palette of course options give students the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology, acquire multimedia experience, and sharpen practical and transactional writing skills.
Madonna University’s Department of English and Communication Arts developed the Professional and Technical Writing program, recognizing the need for excellent written communication skills essential to success in a multitude of careers.
Providing students with the knowledge, skills, and experience necessary for careers in fields such as technical writing, editing, publishing, corporate communications, and sales, the program also prepares students for graduate studies in fields including technical communication, business, and law.
The Professional and Technical Writing program offers a bachelor’s degree, a minor, and a Post-Bachelor Certificate of Completion to enhance students’ workplace writing. The minor plan of study allows students to focus on writing in their chosen field of interest.
