MS Word 2010 is a delight to use for so many reasons… It really is an improved product with many user-friendly features.
One such feature is the rich gallery of free TEMPLATES that it comes with.
When you want to create a new document and select File > New, Word immediately displays a fantastic gallery of available templates, which (of course) includes a “template” for a Blank Document as well…

The above image shows only some of the templates Word 2010 offers. If you can’t find the template you’re looking for here the chances are you won’t be able to find it anywhere else and you need to sit down and design it yourself.

Real estate agents and brokers will be glad to know that Word 2010 comes with templates for them as well, in specific sub-categories such as “Agent Focus”, “For Rent or Sale”, “New Listing”, etc. It’s clear that some serious thinking went into these templates.
Another very handy category is RESUMES. Thanks to Word 2010 you do not need to pay anyone to come up with a handsome looking resume. Just download and replace the place-holder text blocks!

It’s an endless feast. It makes me feel like sitting down and creating all kinds of documents, even those that I don’t really need, just because an attractive template is available for it 🙂
