MS Word 2010 is a delight to use for so many reasons… It really is an improved product with many user-friendly features.
One such feature is the rich gallery of free TEMPLATES that it comes with.
When you want to create a new document and select File > New, Word immediately displays a fantastic gallery of available templates, which (of course) includes a “template” for a Blank Document as well…

I will need to be typing a document that could have at least 500 pages. Do you have a template you would say would be the best. This will need to be set up like a book. Something like the area on Word 3 for typing a document. Something like that from Word 3

This list *almost* makes we want to upgrade to Word 2010… almost. I think I’ll accept that I have to create my own templates for now and wait a bit longer.

Not really. Bit of a mess in the booklet printing dept., I’m afraid. Try printing a 4 page booklet using the book fold, non duplex printing option and the WHOLE thing collapses. Dozens of internet site complaints and NO action by Microsoft yet. I have also told them but they just don’t fix it.
