Here is an interesting opportunity to teach technical writing for a full year in South Korea:
GIST College, Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology, is a well-respected educational institution in South Korea.
The monthly salary offered (which is open to negotiation, I understand) 2.6 million KRW compares favorably with the 1.5 million KRW on the average that those who teach English in Korea are getting.
I think the “opportunities and pitfalls” cited here applies to a large extend to those who’d like to teach technical writing as well. Good luck!
