Google+ Hangout is a great idea but certainly not a GoToMeeting or WebEx killer at all. It still has a lot of ways to go.
In the tests I conducted, the GUI becomes very unstable as soon as you start to use features like sharing a document or drawing illustrations. When the sound is muted, sometimes it does not come back even when you unmute it. Another glitch: when you unmute the other person, the other person can just as easily unmute herself.
Overall I find it reliable only for straight dialog without touching any of the controls on the toolbar. I’d much rather pay for a stable and reliable service than use a free one which is neither reliable nor stable.
