In this new Guild Research Report, Learning Technologies 2013: Where We Are Now, Patti Shank shares the results of a 2013 survey focusing on the technologies used by 519 respondents in the eLearning and learning fields. The report examines which individual technologies—such as audio, blogs, discussion boards, simulations, and text messages—respondents use. The report analyzes the differences between corporate and higher education use and usage by different industries, then explores usage by modality: in classroom instruction, asynchronous eLearning, synchronous eLearning, mobile learning, performance support, on-the-job instruction, and informal and social learning.
This report is part of the Survey series of reports from Guild Research, which analyze questions about the practices, actions, and choices of fellow learning professionals.
