Due to my heavy workload I don’t get to attend parties and similar gatherings too frequently but last night was a happy exception. The TECH THE HALLS 2013 event was a very successful event, bringing together 200 hi-tech professionals from all kinds of different sectors for a night of sharing, having a good time and networking.
I’m happy and proud to say my own Pace Setter Award winning STC Chapter was one of the organizers and sponsors of the event.
Tech The Halls! is a celebration that brought together 8 local tech groups as we kicked off the holiday season and celebrate all of the reasons DC is a tech mecca.
DCWW, UXPA-DC, STC WDC, IxDA-DC, Web Mavens, Content Strategy Meetup, Reaching Latinos Online, and NAMDE have joined together for the second time to celebrate all of the ways we are one, united tech community in the DC area. At this event, technologists from all over the DC-Metro area met, shared ideas and networked.
Held at the chic CO CO SALA in downtown Washington, DC, attendees and guests connected with old friends and new while enjoying drinks and delicious food.
